HeaD Trainer Abel Brites started practicing martial arts at the age of 13 under the instruction of Urban Combat black belt Franck Vigouroux, where he learned a variety of striking & submission techniques.

At the age of 19 he decided to pursue a career as a competitor and begin training full time.

Abel Brites is now one of Australia’s best lightweights proving this on multiple occasions.

Australian Hex Light weight Champion 2015 – 2017

FRANCK VIGOUROUX STarTED MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING AT THE AGE OF 15. HE HAS OVER THE YEARS TRAINED IN TAE KWON DO, KARATE, KICK BOXING, MULTIPLE STYLES OF KUNG FU AND BUDO - JITSU (A NO NONSENSE SELF - DEFENCE SYSTEM INCORPORATING STRIKES, TAKEDOWNS, CHOKES AND WEAPONS DEFENCE). FRANCK WAS AWARDED THE RANK OF BLACK BELT UNDER BUDO-JITSU FOUNDER THE LATE ROB ASHLEY GEAR (CONSIDERED BY MANY TO HAVE BEEN THE PIONEER OF CLOSE QUARTER COMBAT IN AUSTRALIA).

FRANCK IS PASSIONATE IN HELPING YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN DEVELOP A STRONG MENTAL ATTITUDE COMBINED WITH THE PHYSICAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO OVERCOME ADVERSITY AND COME OUT VICTORIOUS.
